The Governor extended the Open Burn Prohibition for two more weeks. It is set to expire at 11:59 on April 10th but can be extended again if necessary.
The Executive Order prohibits the issuing of open burn permits, range management permits and State Fire Marshal training burn permits. It is also strongly recommended that recreational fires and contained burning such as burn barrels not be conducted as well. Game and Parks have also verified that they continue to ban open flames on their properties.
