A licensed Public Display Operator is responsible for the Public Display Permit application and must be present and supervise anyone assisting with the display. In order to become a licensed Public Display Operator an individual must take a test over state regulations. There is no charge to become a licensed Public Display Operator. Licenses from other states will not be accepted. The test is scheduled once a month. It is also given at Fire School in May.
If you want to take the test, you may download the application. You must also complete the Citizen Attestation Form and mail it to the address below. The Citizen Attestation Form can NOT be emailed back to the department. This form is included in the previous link.
